From a young age, I was drawn to the world of art, teaching myself the techniques and nuances of painting that would eventually shape my career. At 18, I had the honour of participating at my first exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, an experience that was not only humbling but also life-changing. It was there that I was awarded a scholarship to the Julian Ashton Art School, where I further honed my skills and deepened my love for the craft.

Portraits have always been my preferred medium, as they allow me to delve into the complexities of human emotion and connection. Capturing the essence of a person—their stories, their feelings, their spirit—through a single stroke of the brush is both challenging and deeply rewarding. Whether it’s a quiet moment of introspection or a vibrant expression of joy, I strive to bring these emotions to life on canvas.

Painting, in any form, is my true passion. It’s a journey that never ceases to inspire me, and I pour my heart and soul into every piece I create. But while my work often gravitates toward the serious and profound, my paint and sip sessions offer a different side of my artistic journey. They allow me to embrace the lighter, more playful aspects of art, sharing the joy of creation with others in a relaxed, fun environment. These events are not just about painting—they’re about building memories, laughing, and discovering that everyone has a bit of an artist in them, no matter their skill level.
