1. What is your business?
You've heard of Painting Classes, but have you heard of Painting Classes with WINE??? Whether you’re a budding artist or closer to a scribbling toddler, you’re bound to have a fantastic time at Brush & Barrel. Grab your favourite bottle of drink and some fun-loving mates and let the instructor guide you through painting the night’s featured picture.
2. How Much does it cost?
The price is $55 per seat for all session except for Paint your Pet sessions which are $60. Brush & Barrel has everything else ready for you – paints, canvas, easels, brushes, glassware, artist for your step by step painting instructions and a 40x50cm masterpiece on canvas for you to take home.
3. What Should I wear?
We hope you have a best experience and enjoy the time in our studio. You should wear something that you don’t mind getting a little paint on. We have aprons in-house to keep your clothes clean.
4. Can I walk in instead of paying online?
It is highly recommended to register and pay in advance due to limited number of seats.
So to avoid disappointment please book online. Please visit our calendar to book!
5. Do you sell Food or Drinks?
It's BYO drinks and/or food... Bring your favourite bottle of wine, beer, or any type of creative juices. We have glassware for you to use.
Please note we do not provide serving utensils, plates or cutlery for BYO. Please ensure you bring this with you.
6. Underage People Policy?
We at Brush and Barrel don't mind if Underage people join our sessions. Please be aware you are brining your child into an adult environment. All under age guests must be accompanied and supervised by a paying Adult. We will not allow underage guests to be left alone at our studio with out a paying Adult.
7. What is your cancelation and refund Policy?
Cancelations must be made 48 hours prior to the booking to secure a full refund.
Cancelations made within 48 hours of the session will be issued a store credit of the full amount of the purchase. There is no rebooking fees charged at Brush and Barrel.
Store credits do not have an expiry date and can be used on any future sessions.
No shows will not be refunded or provided a store credit. Please ensure you cancel or amend you booking prior to the session start time via email.
Gift Voucher and store credit bookings.
We are unable to rebook, cancel or reissue a gift voucher/store credits for a cancelation of booking made with a Gift Voucher with in 24 hours of your booked session. Cancelations made 24 hours prior to your booked session will have the monetary value returned to the original gift voucher/store credit and the original Gift Voucher/store credit expiry date will be honoured.
8. Where is the best parking?
Our NEWSTEAD STUDIO is located on Longland street. The is no off street parking on Longland street. There is only street parking. We recommend using public transport or Uber. However there is Parking available at Gas works which is only a 50m walk from the studio. Paint your Pet FAQ's
1. What type of Picture should I send and why?
We require a clear picture of your pet preferably standing or sitting facing the camera. This is to ensure our Artist can lightly sketch your pet picture to the canvas. If you're not sure your pet pic is ok. Please send it to us and we let you know. Due to time constraints during the session please only one pet per canvas.
2. Does it have to be a cat or a dog?
No any pet is fine. We have had fish, Horses and Birds.
3. What if I don't have a pet?
Please google a Pet Photo you would like to paint.
4. When do your require the pet photo?
Please send us your pet photo's ASAP. But please no later than the deadline quoted at check out. We will contact you if you fail to supply a pic.
5. Where do I send my pet pics?
Please send us your pet photo's to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please ensure you provide your booking confirmation code in your email.
If you are a part of a large group (4 or more) please ensure you send all photos within ONE email.
